Session 1: Rediscovering Soul-Talk
We begin by recovering the vision for soul-talk found in Scripture: conversations that stir the affections, expose the heart, and bring truth to bear with grace. From David and Jonathan to Jesus and His disciples, soul-talk was never optional. This session explores why we've lost it, what it costs us, and how we can recover it.

Session 2: The Language of the Psalms: Speaking Honestly and Holy
In the Psalms, we hear the soul in full voice—rejoicing, weeping, pleading, praising. This session shows how the Psalms teach us to speak with honest emotion and holy reverence. We explore how using the Psalms in soul-talk can shape vocabulary, invite vulnerability, and lead others to deeper communion with God.

Session 3: When the Soul Hides – Drawing Out the Heart in Conversation.
Many people hide behind silence, humor, or shallow words. In this session, we learn to draw others out gently and wisely, as Jesus did with the woman at the well and the two disciples on the road to Emmaus. We explore how to ask the kind of questions that invite the heart to speak and how to create a safe space where truth and grace meet.

Session 4: Soul-Talk in the Home – Teaching Children the Language of the Heart.
Soul-talk begins in the home. Parents shape how children learn to speak about joy, grief, guilt, truth, and love. If we do not teach them the language of the heart, the world will teach them the language of flattery, shame, and silence.
